Shane Neilson is a poet, physician, and critic from New Brunswick who works as a Vanier Scholar researching the representations of pain in Can Lit in the English and Cultural Studies Department of McMaster University. He won a Mitchell Prize in 2017 and the 2017 Walrus Poetry Prize.
