Lauren Kirshner is a writer, arts educator, and assistant professor of English at Ryerson University. Her novel, Where We Have to Go, was a finalist for the City of Toronto Book Award. She is also the founding creative director of Sister Writes, a creative writing and publishing program for women in Toronto.
