LCP Feminist Caucus: Remembering Forward

Community Building / Le renforcement des collectivités
Main Loft, Harbourfront Centre Main Building

Join the League of Canadian Poets’ Feminist Caucus for their annual panel presentation and chapbook launch. This year, panelists Lillian Allen, Gwen Benaway, Anne Burke, Canisia Lubrin, Lee Maracle, and Charlie C. Petch discuss on the topic of “Remembering Forward” — how feminist visions, ideals, and objectives change over time.

This event will also launch Revisit, Revise, Revolutionize: A Two-Part Harmony, the latest in the Living Archives chapbook series. Featuring the work of Janice Jo Lee, Andrea Thompson, and Paulina O’Kieffe, with an introduction from editors Vanessa Shields and Charlie Petch, this chapbook looks at the history and future of feminism in literature in Canada.

Finally, the Feminist Caucus welcomes all writers to this event to take part in the annual open reading, a short open mic section of the event that welcomes readings from all writers.
