LCP Feminist Caucus Event/Launch

Community Building / Le renforcement des collectivités
Main Loft, Harbourfront Centre Main Building

The League of Canadian Poets’ Feminist Caucus presents the launch of  Revisit, Revise, Revolutionze: A Two-Part Harmony, the latest in the Living Archives chapbook series. Featuring the work of Janice Jo Lee, Andrea Thompson, and Paulina O’Kieffe, with an introduction from editors Vanessa Shields and Charlie Petch, this chapbook looks at the history and future of feminism in literature in Canada.

This event will also feature a presentation curated by Carol Casey, “Remembering Forward,” with six feminists — including Anne Burke, Lee Maracle, and Charlie C Petch — engaging in a discussion about how feminist visions, ideals, and objectives change over time.

Finally, the Feminist Caucus welcomes all writers to this event to take part in the annual open reading, a short open mic section of the event that welcomes readings from all writers.
